We are also excited to let you know that the library will be moving to a new website in the coming weeks – but our web address is staying the same! While it may look different, you can still find all of the same great resources in one convenient place.
Breton Municipal Library is located on main street in a small rural community. The library provides important resources for the residents of the community and surrounding area. Books, CDs, DVDs and audio books are all a part of the collection and in addition to that, we provide free access to high speed internet for patrons and visitors alike. We have a beverage machine available which will make individual cups of coffee or tea, as the customer desires, to enjoy in our quiet reading room with the comfy chairs and ottomans.
One membership per family is free through the generousity of the Village of Breton and County of Brazeau who provide funding for the library. The card can be used to borrow books from any library in the system and books, no matter where they were borrowed, may be returned at any library in Alberta.
We now have a book drop located on the East side of the building–next to AIF–at the end of the bank of windows. Feel free to return your books there any time that the library is closed.
